Lupines

The lupines are blooming now. This is one of my favorite spots to go for photos since you can get the Halifax skyline in the background.
My day didn't go quite as planned. There were some showers this morning and more in the forecast for this afternoon, but they didn't happen. Now it says this evening starting at 9 pm, but nothing yet. I had planned to finish a cleanup, then get the mulch spread on a new property. She wanted black mulch, and it should have 24 hours to dry after it is spread, so the dye will set. That means I need 2 dry days together when spreading black mulch. So I postponed the mulch delivery and we will do that another day. The cleanup is complete and the beds have been edged. There were 2 jobs started on Monday, one needed some mulch, so I bought some bags of mulch to use there. The other one needs some pea gravel put down next to a walkway. I still need to get a couple more bags to finish it. Then we did some weeding at a couple more places.
Tomorrow I am going to a plant sale in Truro and will plan to stop at the farmers market too. I am hoping to find some fresh local strawberries. Then I will go to Masstown Market and Lowland Gardens.
