Friday

The first blackbird started the morning at 4:03.
We set out at 05:15 a chill in the air was soon forgotten as we reached the top of the camping field hill.
Over the railway line and across the Marsh as the sun rose and kissed the castle and the far shore.
Back along the estuary Dippy practiced his swimming skills and I managed to submerse myself in the river for 5 minutes.
The Seine salmon nets-men struggled to reach the mooring line with their grapple until Dippy lent a paw or two.
I collected some cockles for supper before letting Dippy’ wash off salt and sand in river.
A good breakfast, shower and tidy before heading to Carmarthen for a physio appointment.
We met some interesting local people and enjoyed tea and cake in the warm sunshine.
