Peony

What a strange day! Bonnie and I went off to the market for the morning, while Rob was away doing his marine survey. While I was there, my phone rang and it was the hospital wondering if I could get to Lancaster for my appointment that afternoon. 
Well I said yes, so rushed home to leave Bonnie next door, then back down the motorway, which was very congested.
I had a CT scan, not a pleasant experience as they injected dye into my vein which was extremely painful. Fortunately I was lying down! In no fit state to drive I headed home, and as I went to unlock the kitchen door my phone rang again, and it was Rob ready to be collected….from Heysham!
Back in the car, back down the motorway, less traffic this time. Rob was waiting for me, and I collapsed into the passenger seat for a rest!
When we finally got home Bonnie was ecstatic, having thought she had lost both of her parents for ever! 
So that was a bit of a day…..!
