Salad Days

Perfect weather today for spending a couple of hours at the allotment. Picked the first of what will hopefully be a good strawberry crop, some more coriander that was starting to go to seed and a few bags of salad stuff: endive, rocket, various kinds of lettuce. Because there’s a relative lack of slugs I’ve lost almost none of the lettuce seedlings and we have a glut. Good job we like salads!
We’d our monthly online catch-up in the evening (after a big salad for dinner) and more folk there than of late which was good. My tipple of choice was cans of Weißbier from Lidl, paying homage to the late MrA. They were as good as you’d expect.
