Stonechat

A female with food for chicks. I was on Sanday on the slim chance of tracking down a rare bird- two different observers saw a possible frigatebird!. I didn't find it, but a good day out. I saw a glossy ibis that has been around for a while and two otters while I was waiting for the tide to drop and allow me to walk to Start Point lighthouse. Distant shot as extra. Other birds included Arctic skuas, whimbrels, two short-eared owls etc. Distant shot of otters as extra.
