Life is a Challenge!

OH, WHAT A GREY DAY!

Good morning Lovely Blippers,

It’s a grey and mucky day today and it’s raining, not that Mr. HCB is unhappy with that, but it meant that we couldn’t go out and play in the long grass and daisies, which was a shame.  However, we decided that it would be a good opportunity to go out and have a look at Mr. HCB’s new small greenhouse, where he has planted lots of peppers and which Mrs. HCB blipped a few days ago when he was putting it up.

We did laugh though, and we know that Admirer would have giggled when Mrs. HCB leaned against the compost bin, which had lots of water on the top, and she ended up with a wet bottom!!

Mr. HCB is really pleased with his peppers that are called “Snack Peppers”, so you know who will in there having a little snack now and again!  Mind you, we don’t think they will taste as good as chocolate, so Mrs. HCB may not be quite as enamoured with them.

We heard Mrs. HCB laughing this morning too - she slept very well, even though she had to sleep on her back all night so as not to dislodge the wires and monitor bits and pieces, but when she came downstairs and changed the calendar, it said:

“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint”!!  (Jeremiah 31:25)

Considering that the reason she is wearing the 72 hour monitor is because she fainted again, she thought that was quite funny and she told Mr. HCB that she knows now that God has a sense of humour!

We don’t think any of us will be going out today - except that the HCBs may have to collect some food from Morrisons for the Community Fridge - but it is raining much harder now, so we think a hot chocolate with marshmallows and a board game or two would be a good idea!

It just remains for us to remind you to BE KIND - because you never know what someone else is going through and your KINDNESS might be just the thing they need to get through their day.

Have a great weekend.

Love from The Silly Saturday Gang xxx

P.S.  Mrs. HCB apologises for not commenting last night but she was out at a very important meeting - “Praying for Swindon” - she said it was great but she was tired when she got home so went straight to bed but thanks you for all your kind comments about the honeysuckle and best wishes for her.
