Who’s silly now…

A river walk on a beautiful winter day brought me to a curious sight. A black swan on the walk/cycle path standing completely still on one leg for such a long time it was almost like a statue. I stool there for ages worrying that it might be injured, or scared, or maybe guarding its mate nearby…until it dropped its little gift. Silly human with no idea!! :))
