Saturday 7th June, 2024...

This crazy lot are doing 24 different parkruns in 24 hours... There is a core group of 10 runners and a few others are jumping in and out depending where they are in the schedule...
They started at Redcliffe parkrun at 7am with normal parkrun... You have to be able to run 5km in less than 31 minutes... It's all calculated out... I caught up with them at 3:00pm at Kelvin Grove parkrun, it was their 9th parkrun... I took Zooper Doopers with me because I thought at this stage, frozen water iceblocks would go down a treat... The runners were very appreciative for them and I sent them off onto their next parkrun with the leftovers in my little esky... I'll catch up with them again at 6:00am when they set off from Sandgate parkrun for their final parkrun to complete 24 in 24 hours... Yep they are crazy... They all love a challenge... I will add that most of the core group are Ultra runners so are used to running 100km events...
