Silly Saturday

Several years ago, Santa popped this little treasure into my Editor's Christmas stocking - and I was delighted to know that she could grow her own maid rather than having to think of hiring one. However it seems that my Editor must have been worried that I might develop a crush on the new maid and that she may take my attention away from her. Anyway, whatever the reason, this poor little maid ended up stuck in a drawer for a long time.

The maid recently came to light during a period of (attempted) decluttering, so my Editor got her out of her bubble pack and popped her in water, as the instructions direct. Sadly she grew by only about 5% and as you can see she turned into a bit of an old hag (that's the maid, not my Editor!). So now that she's been blipped, she's going in the bin.

I hope this will give you a Silly Saturday chuckle - I'm sure Admirer would have had a giggle.
