Canal walk
So this morning I left early to go for a stroll along the canal on my way to work. This image caught my eye I love the way canals remind you of slowing down the way travel used to be. The image looks timeless it could have been taken by Bill Brant or even longer ago.
The leeds Liverpool canal was built by James Brindley something of a canal master, not Brunel but he was not far behind. The canal was used to ship textiles from Yorkshire and Lancashire to the port of Liverpool, to be sold all over the world.
