The Healing Power of Crystals

This crystal, for example, saved my aunt’s life.
It was being used as a paperweight by a student studying on a balcony seventeen floors up in a large town in Ecuador. It was accidentally knocked off the balcony just as my aunt was walking on the sidewalk below.
My aunt was standing for political office and, as was not that unusual in that place, at that time, she was the target of an attempted assassination. The assassin’s bullet struck the falling crystal and was diverted away from my aunt. Unfortunately, the respite was temporary because the deflected bullet shattered the windscreen of a passing taxi which careered onto the sidewalk, with fatal consequences for my aunt.
But I like to think that she savoured that extra second of life afforded her by that piece of crystal.
So, yeah, I do believe in the healing power of crystals.
