Silly Saturday :: SilS453 :: Wrong Lens
It's that time of the week when I need to find an image for the 52Frame challenge. This week's theme is 'Use the wrong lens'. I think I often do but I thought I'd try and link it with this month's Silly Saturday.
I believe the main idea was to use the wrong type of lens for a shot, ie a wide angle for a close up portrait or a telephoto for a grand vista.
I have gone for using something that isn't a lens at all. Silly me.
I needed to keep my iPhone lens attached (a bit silly removing it just for this...) but I placed a small piece of stained glass over the lens. The stained glass had a patterned that looks like rain drops. It is pattern that makes the multiple images of the lupin flower heads. I'm surprised at how similar the result is to my Blip yesterday which only used a telephoto lens.
I suppose it could be debated I used glass more as a filter than a lens. I'll let others debate that... ;o)
