June 7th

I've had a most enjoyable day today.  Lots of cards I  brought with me to open, messages, texts and a call from my son M in Australia. Met up with my friend J, who has lived just outside town for years, for a very extended lunch time. We met twenty odd years ago, when I  lived in the area. We chatted away in the shade of a local bar, over cold drinks, for about four hours. When  got back to the hotel, an invitation was wedged in my door, thanks to K, the senior receptionist that I've known from previous visits here. See extra. About to go down to accept the offer....only a glass though unfortunately, due to the meds!
It's been a great day:))
