Estuary Walk

Sunshine and showers again  today.  Mrs CBL decided not to go for a walk and do some gardening instead.  Darker clouds appeared on the horizon as I ventured out.

I decided not to stray too far from home so took a short walk down to the estuary in search of my blip.  A heron posing on a rock obliged.  I took several photos of it moving closer and closer each time until I took one step too many and  it took  flight (see extra).

As I headed for home over the golf course spots of rain began to fall.  I heard some rumbles of thunder in the distance but fortunately I got in the door before the heavens opened.  Whew!
