Very rainy start to the day - enough to wake me up just before 6:00, and I am a person who has slept through earthquakes...

A town nearby has a wonderful plastic-free refill shop so I took a bunch of storecupboard essentials over to be refilled and had a lovely chat with the ladies who run the shop.

Then it was chore time, but I'm working hard on remembering that though hoovering and cleaning may not be fun, they make my home and my world more beautiful. This month's mantra is that happiness won't be found elsewhere if we can't find it now. We make our own joy.
