Mossy Throne

Today has been the dullest so far of our holiday with no sunshine but we've enjoyed ourselves and didn't get too wet in the drizzle.  We went to Grassington again for coffee and then had a walk down to Linton Falls which were formed where a fault in the earth's crust shifted, millions of years ago, raising the limestone rocks to the north up higher than those to the south.  I've added an extra.

We also went to see the church at Linton and en route I spotted this lovely mossy chair, patiently waiting for someone to come and sit on it.  Very silly I thought - but then it is Saturday!  Many thanks davidc for hosting the challenge.

Back in Grassington we had lunch at Croquembouche which is a patisserie, where they bake beautiful bread and cakes, as well as a cafe and restaurant.  The chef is French and our lunch was delicious!
