Sticking It’s Tongue Out
Another quiet day with light rain around and a thunderstorm now heading this way for about 7pm per My Lightning Tracker app. I drove into town for some shopping and also popped to a craft fair. Then I watched the tennis with the girl’s final (the British player lost), followed by the men’s wheelchair final which Alfie Hewitt lost (it took me most of the match before I found it on Discovery +). The ladies final was very entertaining. The tennis quality was not the highest as it was incredibly windy, but the players had to adapt so much and play some really unusual shots which was great to watch, and it went to three sets. Congratulations to Coco Gauff winning her first French Open, she kept calm and focussed and deserved the win. The woodpecker was back on the bird feeder, I took several shots and posted this one as it’s sticking its tongue out. I googled it and the thinner end has barbs on it (you can’t see that in the photo). I love that doing photography enables us to see such things and discover more about Nature in our gardens.
