Silly Saturday

A relaxed morning before I headed to M&S for a food shop. I’d forgotten about the new B&M store which opened last weekend…the car park was chockablock! M&S was busy too but manageable and once I’d taken the shopping bags to the car I decided to take a wander around the new store just to see what they had…I did get rained on for my troubles! The new store had formerly been a Homebase and is huge…you could have spent all day there and not seen it all! I didn’t make any purchases but will go back when it’s a bit quieter and I can get parked a bit nearer!

Home for a late lunch then the wee one arrived mid afternoon…it’s been a bit showery so we haven’t been out though I did do some watering in the garden. Just need to get him ready for bed now and hope he goes to sleep at a sensible time…I didn’t sleep well last night so hoping to do better tonight!

Thursdays orchid has given me my blip today…seen here in all its crispy glory, I think it’s beyond redemption but I’ve left it in the hall just in case! MC gave me it a Christmas or two ago in full flower, the flowers all dropped off it within days and it’s done absolutely nothing since…I’m usually quite good at neglecting orchids correctly but not this one!
