Training

When I peeped through the curtains at about 5 a.m. the tide was fully in on Combesgate beach, which is right below our main window.  Too early to rise so back to bed.

We managed to walk down into Woolacombe for a newspaper without getting wet but only just, so we sat in the lounge reading and enjoying the sea view.

After a light lunch it looked reasonably safe to go out for a walk and we were half way across Woolacombe beach before the heavens opened, again.  Then it was on and off until we got back to base.  It’s looking altogether more favourable this evening.

The RNLI were out training and I managed to get a few reasonable images.
