Cliff beach, Uig, Isle of Lewis

On another sunny day on the Isle of Lewis, Mr hazelh and I leapt onto our tandem for another day on a beach. Today our venue was the deserted Secret beach 3 'behind' the slightly busier Reef beach (~6 people sighted?) On our way there we admired the view of Cliff beach (and caught our breath after conquering the hill together), and chatted with a man on a super electric recumbent bike that he uses since suffering from a stroke.

After our picnic, some reading, sunbathing, and shell collecting at Secret beach 3, Mr hazelh and I headed 'home' to Baile-na-Cille. There we spent some time with Richard and Jo. Mr hazelh helped measure out the tennis court for line painting (extra). This makes a change from Mr hazelh's usual IT support role. Then we competed in a table tennis tournament with Richard and Jo in the old dining room. Richard and I were the victors.

We have also played Scrabble, with another win for Mr hazelh. The series now stands three wins to him and one to me. It will be Carcassonne after supper.

Tomorrow there will be more of the same.

Exercise today: 1.5 hours of tandem riding; small amount of walking (9,020 steps).
