Ageing gracefully

This is Goff’s Park House, a beautiful Victorian building that started life as someone’s home in 1882. More recently it was used as offices, but has lain empty since the last tenants moved out a few years ago.
It’s good to see it renovated, but its future is uncertain. It’s being advertised as a commercial property for rent, but I don’t think it has much to appeal to modern businesses. Set in a lovely park with a lake, very close to Goff’s Manor, a sixteenth-century listed building once a farmhouse and now a pub, I think it would be ideal for converting into luxury flats. I wouldn’t mind living in one myself, if only people who’ve worked there didn’t swear that it’s haunted !
