My thumb is doing okay. No symptoms of infection. I still have it covered as it was yesterday. If it touches anything, it hurts, so I won't peak in just yet. 

It's been very windy day. The kind when you worry about branches falling on you. But the weather seems to be turning into much better that what was forecast yesterday.
