Living the Life
We don’t stint on our camper van meals.
Starters tonight included asparagus fried in ghee, olive oil and garlic, crispy tarallis dipped in a balsamic and herb mix, accompanied by limoncello spritzers.
Mains were pork fillets baked with tomato sauce and asiago cheese, plus cauliflower and broccoli and garlicky potatoes. And a Carignan red from French Catalan.
Dessert - chocolate with lemon and ginger, and amaretti, accompanied by a local amaro digestiv.
Gratefuls:
- a relaxed, lazy day
- walking into the village to eat gelato
- swimming in the utterly clear Tyrrhenian sea
