A Rose In The Evening…

…After a very rainy day.
I got caught in a downpour but was, at least, dressed for it.

I had a bit of a fridge and cupboard clear out (easier than a freezer clear out, which is also necessary). I found a recipe for Stilton and walnut scones (from someone’s Tearoom, I used to pick up a lot of little tearoom recipe books. I do still love them). So that used up some things and should keep us happy for a day or two. They look good. (Should have blipped?).

I also finished my document from yesterday (with help from Himself) and I’m pleased with it. I’ll never be computer competent though. I know what I want to do (make this bigger and move that to there and maybe put a circle round the other one… ). I can’t begin to explain how many buttons I press to try to make these simple things happen!
(But, I’m better at it than I was).

In other news, I haven’t had a biscuit or any chocolate (or cake) for three days now.
(Darn, it feels like so much longer. I couldn’t believe my fingers when I added up the days to only three !).
