Plants!

All in our early walk around our barrio. I love the iPhone function that lets you know the plants you photograph. Here, top to bottom, we have Persian Silk Tree, Jacaranda and Bird of Paradise Bush, if one can believe what it shows!

A gentle day, although I did take out some strong weeds that had grown in the edge between pavement and asphalt where our car sits in the passageway.

It was enough energy consumption in brilliant sunshine and 28c heat to make us head off to the Sisters Place (Don Sandwich) in Calle Figol for some nice razor-shell fish, angel pasta with prawns and garlic mayonnaise, and breadcrumbed kid chops. Oh, and some homemade coconut flan and tiramisu, all washed down with some chilled verdejo white wine from the northeast of Spain.

A wee siesta on the patio was needed!
