Roofer

Our neighbours are re-roofing what (we think) used to be the Dolphin Pub on Bartlow Road which closed in the 1950's.  They are dong a very careful job and it's going to be great when it's finished.  This was my view from the kitchen this morning.

The weather has been inclement all day with the threatened rain only starting with a vengeance at 5pm when Linton Jazz were playing at a church picnic event in Hardwick.  Luckily there was an indoor wet weather plan and despite the rain it was well attended and we had fun.

A reminder to local friends that we are also playing at the Linton Flower Festival at St Mary's tomorrow (Sunday 3pm).  If you've not heard Linton Jazz for a while then please do wander down, you'll know the tunes, and the band are sounding brilliant at the moment.
