What is it?

Mr Rat was out much of the day doing a cycle ride in aid of charity and managed to miss the rain until he was nearly home.
I did parkrun and then went for refreshments with some friends and we lingered so long I was late for the next place I was supposed to be (I'd forgotten about it until the last minute).
This was a Volunteer Celebration event, some food, a quiz and presentation of certificates. The rain was just arriving as I left, with that smell of newly wettened earth, and we've had showers on and off since then.
I haven't done a lot else.
