Lone rose

I’m a bit baffled by this rose by the very shady front gate. It moves every year, seems to totally die back and then springs up in a different place. There is very little on line about how roses propagate without intervention but I think it might have a big underground root system that throws up shoots fairly randomly.  Looking for the light poor thing.  It’s very highly scented and I think an old variety because it’s normally gone by the end of June. 

Big zoom meeting with a broadcaster  at 9am which went 70% but we still have one more push to do.  Bit disappointing for the writer who thought he’d nailed it. 

I then shot up to London to have my hair done in the build up for the wedding next weekend. It’s going to be a big one - the count down begins.
