Forth and Fisherrow

First adventure on Silver Otter today.

Couldn't get the port engine started initially, but figured it out in the end.  

We were accompanied by a dolphin for a while on leaving Port Edgar, just playing in our bow wave.  We saw seals on one of the channel markers (see extra).  CyclopsJnr got the hang of driving a bigger boat (extra).  We explored top speed in the calm conditions (25kts - although I hate to think how much fuel she was drinking!) (another extra).  We popped into Fisherrow harbour (between Portobello and Musselburgh) (extra) to grab a burger for lunch from the van there.  We cruised round Inchmickery (the battleship island) (extra). Then back to Port Edgar under the iconic bridge.  As we came in the dolphin joined us again, just playing alongside our boat for 30 minutes before we parted company and came back in.

The rain held off until we were back at the car.

I'm calling the day a success...
