Settling Into the Barrio

After planning to have a full-on day of ironing and house things and then not making an early enough start to it, so we decided to leave it for today and do it tomorrow (which we’ll no doubt regret!). We did sweep and wash the patio though and Bb did some weeding in the passageway around our 2CV. We gave our patio and balcony plants another good watering.

Walked for lunch at the ‘two sisters place, aka Don Sandwich, and had a traditional menu del dia. A couple of little purchases: plants and outside lights for the upstairs terrace. If the lights are a success, we may get them for the other areas too. A rest at home. A siesta for Bb. I’m not good at them, unless absolutely exhausted.

Another walk in the evening, getting our 10,000 steps in. Summer seems to have arrived and so walks will be slow and in the cooler parts of the day now.
