Wound up in Wexford

Cotinus

Despite intermittent bits of rain we managed quite a good morning in the garden.  I weeded and edged one of the flower beds, before planting some annual salvia in it to give a bit of instant colour.

And W planted lots of other summer bedding - some home grown, some bought, some acquired from the gardening club.

In the afternoon I played in the sewing room.

Just a nice satisfying and gentle day at home.

After a very sharp rain shower I popped back out into the garden to find a blip.  This is a very young cotinus, should look good against the stone when it gets a bit bigger.
