Sidekick

It was a laidback and enjoyable final day of the Miombo Magic festival, where the vibes continued to be excellent. This donkey and zebra pairing provided humour as they started scavenging around the campsite as various groups packed up. The donkey was firmly in charge of the operation, the zebra the submissive sidekick.

Early evening Luke and Michelle dropped me in Harare city centre ready for my work event to start tomorrow. Luckily I didn’t have to do any official meetings with people who were assembling for the conference, which was my initial concern. Instead I settled into my hotel slap bang in the middle of Harare, metres from the main highway, and geared up for the week ahead.
