Butchery

It has been a very good week and in this transboundary conservation community I feel like an effective and valued member. Today was the most official day of the week with various very senior dignitaries, including some heads of state, arriving to represent each SADC country and celebrate the outcomes of the summit. The sessions were hours late in starting whilst the senior bods were briefed and prepared in anterooms.

When the formalities were over, I moved onto the most important part of the day. This was to meet back up with Luke and Michelle and head to the farm on the outskirts of Harare for the upcoming weekend. Critical purchases were made en route, including of industrial amounts of biltong.
