Bird feeder?

This bird feeder was a birthday present, but so far we haven’t seen any birds on it. Today it was funny to see this squirrel helping himself. At one stage he got right into it. We are going to put it higher up on the window so that he can’t stand on the window sill to reach it. Attractive though they are, squirrels are a real pest in my garden. We didn’t have one tulip in the garden this year whereas in former years they were a blaze of colour. All I have is holes where the little pests have been digging.
