Tabou

Was a nice morning so we had a breakfast in Tabou sitting outside. A croissant and coffee and shared a scrambled egg and baguette (as I only wanted a wee drop.

We had a chat with the big table of regulars (who all met years ago at a French speaking club and meet every Saturday in Tabou. Gudrun (elderly Swedish lady) is hilarious. We get an extra snippet of her life every time we chat. She worked for the Swedish foreign office and this time told us of her first posting in Iran, that the Shah was a twin, he had a sister. Bits of her life in Tanzania living in a high rise block. She has a really dry sense of humour, very blunt. A real character for sure.

Got the bus home as the rain was starting.

Did some planting out and made a tasty tea.

Did some research of places that Ben and I will visit in Liverpool.

Early to bed - cough cough cough and rose running like a burn!
