A Dull Saturday
I slept like a baby in the enormous football pitch sized bed and woke up naturally rather than with an alarm. Since breakfast was included in my room rate, it would have been churlish not to order a full veggie breakfast. That set me up for the day, with no need to eat until supper time! I have blipped the rear of the hotel, which my room looked out from, not bad at all as backs of hotels go. It was nice and quiet, one of the reasons I like to stay there when visiting Bucks (though it’s actually just over the border in Hertfordshire).
An easy and incident free drive back to Essex, and after an afternoon nap on the sofa I began putting more things into the new wardrobe unit. I recycled huge wodges of now-redundant papers, which felt good. More of that to come. I did some laundry as well, and that was about it. A rather dull Saturday really.
