Natural Growth Force

Temperature +16. Mostly sunny. Strong, gusty wind from the Southwest.

A couple of hours in the allotment. Weeding. Everything grows so fast this time of the summer, and because we don't have time to go to the garden more than about twice a week for the move, the growth can't be caught and work to be done increases.

In the picture you see incredibly blue germander speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys) in the allotment in the edge of the forest close to our garden.
The flower is blue for just one day. The next day it starts to fade, first turning blue-red and falling to the ground as evening falls. So pity, although there surely is some reason to that.
