A busy day

A relatively late start after our late evening. It was good to emerge into warmer weather compared to weekday mornings.

The lost balloon caught my eye as it glinted in the sunshine when I went to collect a parcel from a local depot.

I next tackled the shopping in preparation for tomorrow’s lunch with Sue. It was followed by a trip to the garden refuse place and a great walk with the pooches before it was time for l leave for. Bookclub. That done, I prepped for a later than normal supper before we joined the online quiz hosted by Paul.

We came second which was a major surprise but to be honest I was pretty done in so it was early to bed for all of us.
