Metallic Green
This rose chafer beetle is the third of its kind that I caught in our living room this week, and put back outside. I have no idea why they are coming inside, and it’s always a race against the cats to catch them unharmed.
They are a protected species in Germany. Each one is about as big as the tip of my little finger, and very pretty with their greenish/golden metallic sheen - some are shimmering more coppery than this one. After blipping this one, I let it go in the rambler rose, so it could have a snack.
