Comfy or not Comfy??

Well, today has felt quite long!  Not always a ringing endorsement! Mr KCNQ2Haiku took Ben out for a walk and to the shops this morning and I took Older Teen for a coffee and some shopping, with mixed success.  Ben often goes out with his Dad on a Sunday morning and he was fine today until he got wind that I was taking Older Teen out.. then he became really agitated.  We talked him down and he still chose to go out but it's very anxiety inducing.  We all met back up for lunch at home and then Mr KCNQ2Haiku, Ben and I took Leo for a walk in the woods.  Ben was not very settled though, quite fixated on the visits coming up to the new residential setting which is so understandable, it's just challenging to help him process the future and carry on with the day to day in the meantime.  Back at home I sloped off for a bit leaving Mr KCNQ2Haiku in charge and he made some flapjack.  I planned to do some paperwork but I fell asleep!  Afterwards I sorted snacks and lunches for tomorrow etc and Mr KCNQ2Haiku went for a run and then Ben hurt his finger and became really angry so he took a while to calm down.  I did manage some paperwork in the end, although I haven't managed to do everything I hoped I would this weekend.. but given the fun element to yesterday I'm happy I spent time with friends instead of doing care plans!  They can get finished tomorrow :-)
Ben wants to play monopoly now, so that's the finale to the weekend I think!
