Pentecost Sunday
A Blessings rose for Pentecost, which seems apt.
It’s been a busy day, with our middle son and his family coming for lunch after we’d watched our very encouraging morning service online. Although Smithers did the lion’s share of the work by making the main course yesterday, which we heated up today, I’m still feeling very tired.
This is partly because I’ve spent some time in the craft room with our five year old granddaughter, who is very creative. She’s going home with a large match box, die cut out of holographic card, plus lots of little strips of coloured card and other die cut goodies inside the box. We didn’t have time to complete her creation, but she is going to finish it another time at home by attaching several of the thin strips to each side of the box because she informs me it’s going to be a cat!
