Skipton Cattle Market transformed

... into Art in the Pen. We had a lovely time, enjoyed meeting some of the artists - several of whom I'd come across on Facebook or at other events. We spent money and now are the proud owners of new bowls created by Michelle Freemantle, a photograph of sheep in the snow that I admired at the Yorkshire Federation Exhibition by Janet Burdon of RBSPhotographic and a small book and cards - handprinted by Annwyn Dean. Ann also bought a multi-coloured/ multi-functional game that could be used for drafts for Jimmy - it's his latest thing, well when he isn't constructing with Minecraft on the i-pad.

We enjoyed a longish but much more scenic return home along the A629 through Keighley, Halifax, Huddersfield and enjoyed the full drama of the bleak Pennine Moors - and it wasn't raining!
