Star of Persia. I blipped its emergence on 28th May and it has now burst forth, shorter and not half as big as last year, but still lovely.

Mr HB left early this morning for another fill of aviation at the RAF Cosford Air Show. He's just rung at 7pm to say he has had a great day but is now stuck in the exiting show traffic - dinner will be late!

Despite a few showers I've been busy in the garden and had a cuppa and lots of chat with my dear friend Rose.
