Long Weekend

Well. That was a weekend of many parts. 
Uley on Friday with Dad and Gill, we drove because they can't anymore. They stayed in the house and we stayed at Hugh's with Paloma. They cooked delicious dinner and Dad bought delicious wine so a good night all round. 
Saturday a quick, very cold, swim in Stroud Lido and then off to see Jenny who isn't in a good way at all. I was shocked by how she looked and sounded. Francis says he's getting ready for her to not be around for much longer. But we managed lunch in the pub and helped her sort a few admin bits which was good. 
Then headed back to Uley for dinner in the pub with everyone and a late night with P & H, decompressing from the day. 
A lovely but logistically complicated Sunday morning walk and lunch with the neighbours, a snooze on the sofa and then a long drive home. 
I feel exhausted.
