Our rose

We only have one rose bush in our garden. I believe it was a silver wedding celebration rose, given to or bought by the previous owners of our house. For over a decade, it languished in the overgrown bed outside our dining room window, with almost no sun and in competition with dock, thistles and goose grass as well as the oversized shrubs. When we cleared the bed to make the patio, P moved the rose to a new location. It's still competing with grass and weeds and being overrun by a monster fuchsia, but it's looking lovely, with beautiful, white blooms delicately spotted with pink.
