The park

I had nothing today so a quick walk to the park. I love the two tones of the rushes around the lake. It's been a very sunny, breezy day.
I had the best time last night. I rode over to Cheyenne with Kelli. It's about a 45 min drive in good weather. They had a Celtic festival, which is mostly Scots based but there was an Irish session last night. There were some good folks playing and we had a good showing from our group and really added to the whole sound. I got to bed around 11, which is late for me so it's been a day of just hanging about. 
I did go get some potting soil and some glass cleaner. I cleaned up the frames to put my photos into and repotted some plants. Otherwise I've been sitting outside reading.
Tomorrow I'm going to head to Mom's again but first I'll go up to the mountains for a hike.

My itinerary for the summer is to have these next couple weeks off to visit with friends who will be visiting and my younger brother who will be here for a week. Then I'm going to work half days for two weeks at a garden camp at school. This should be lots of fun. We'll have about 20 kids and will plant, do art, journal and cook. Then I'll do 4 weeks for the rest of July at summer school. The schedule should be 4 days a week, half day. This lets me feel like I'm getting a break too. Then I'll take August off. I'll be getting my torn meniscus fixed on Aug 11th. So a little work, a little fun.
