Grateful the city I call home believes in inclusion and not exclusion..

This morning as I normal do, I turned on the radio to find out that the orange man ordered troops into Los Angeles without the governor asking for them for the first time since 1965 - sixty years ago during the civil rights era. I also heard that a U.S. Marshal was briefly detained due to racial profiling by the Immigration Custom and Enforcement Agency..

Grateful that my mom doesn't know who is president, doesn't know that over 200 plus courts have ruled against the administration including the Supreme Court a few times, doesn't know about human beings being detained and shipped to foreign lands without the due process of law in the U.S. Constitution, that she doesn't know about...

Grateful about another driver over 20 years ago gave me this advice about driving - "You may be doing everything right but you have no idea about those driving around you - so drive like everyone around doesn't know WTF they are doing and you should be fine". Three times today three drivers appeared to assume I was going to do something - twice I swerved and once the other driver did...    

Grateful my mom can watch cute cat and dog videos all day and not worry about anything else. Grateful I found another bakery that has things my mom really likes.
