seaside

flats.

I went out pretty early this morning - I'd been wanting to take some of the sort of photos you can't really be in a group when you're taking them, making people hang around while you peer through the viewfinder. This morning was the last day, we had to be out of the house by ten. Luckily it was a lovely crisp morning and I had a nice time down by the sea.

Flats like this must have been built in Cromer's heyday, when trains brought holidaymakers by the hundred. Many of the flats and posh hotels are gone now, but some of the ones that remain are being done up and seem to have a new lease of life.

We really like Cromer, it's the third year on the trot we've been there and we're already planning to come back next year. Indeed, down the road from where we were staying this year is a twelve bed house, obviously in need of a bit of work but going for £285K

Food for thought!
