Family History

A bit of an "emergency blip" as although I had a good walk this morning, the skies were grey and dull - but dry at least!

This is the collection of medals from 3 generations of my family. The row at the top are from my great grandfather who was a professional soldier in the Victorian era. There are no gallentry medals but campaigns including India and Afghanistan!!!
My brother followed the family tradition with a 30 year career in the army but I didn't think the uniform suited me!!
