Vertigo

Today's trail run took me along the coastal path from Birsay to Costa Hill. My summit attempt of Costa failed due to the presence of a rather angry bonxie who proceeded to dive bomb me.

About turn and retreat to Birsay.

Still, it's the bonxie's territory, not mine, so happy to oblige.

The path does go rather close to the edge at points....vertigo inducing
